Keith Case & Associates is an artist representation agency providing direction to the finest roster in American music. During more than 30 years in the music business, Keith Case has become widely known for representing one-of-a-kind artists of exceptional quality, and doing so with integrity and professionalism.

Case has a long-standing reputation as a passionate, dedicated advocate of bluegrass and roots music, helping pave the way for the best artists in these genres to move toward the mainstream. He and his staff bring that same energy and devotion to their select artists in the fields of folk, pop, gospel, contemporary blues, Cajun and Americana.

The music represented here is both timeless and contemporary. Each of these artists has a history of inspiring critics and electrifying audiences of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life. With over 5,000,000 copies sold, the Grammy-winning soundtrack from the motion picture O Brother, Where Art Thou, featuring many KC&A artists, has struck a resonant chord with the public, bringing a wave of newcomers to the American acoustic music box office.

Keith Case - President/Agent

Music industry veteran Keith Case has presented the finest acts in bluegrass and roots music for over thirty years with a professional career that began in Denver , CO in 1970. As a talent agent, manager and promoter he has represented legendary singer-songwriters and musicians (John Hartford, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Nashville Bluegrass Band)  and has been instrumental in breaking notable new acts that went on to amass both popular and critical acclaim (Alison Krauss and Union Station, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Robert Earl Keen).  His booking agency, Keith Case & Associates, is Nashville ’s premiere traditional music agency and continues to present the foremost artists which lead the genre.

Lee Olsen - Vice President/Agent

Growing up in Pennsylvania , Lee Olsen began a career in music playing mandolin in his own bluegrass band, Whetstone Run, for fifteen years. He later formed his talent booking agency, Lee Olsen & Associates, representing such acts as the Fairfield Four (whom he also manages), Red Clay Ramblers and the Seldom Scene, among others. Joining Keith Case & Associates in 1989, Lee was named Vice President of the company in 1995. Lee is the responsible agent for the following bands: The Fairfield Four, Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys, Ralph Stanley II, The Seldom Scene, and Slaid Cleaves.

 

Janice Young – Agent

Janice most recently lived in Phoenix, Arizona, where she served as president of the Arizona Bluegrass and Old Time Musicians Association, promoting the Superstition Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Apache Junction, AZ. She relocated to Nashville in 2004 and was the responsible agent and manager for the renowned bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters. Janice was instrumental in the early success of the band. Janice serves as the responsible agent for several bands on the KCA roster--Alecia Nugent, David Peterson & 1946, Don Rigsby & Midnight Call; 2007 IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year Bradley Walker; The Farewell Drifters, and The Steep Canyon Rangers.

Administrative Staff

Claire Armbruster – Artist Support 

Claire relocated to Nashville in 2007 from Wilkesboro, NC, where she worked for Americana music festival MerleFest. Claire was involved with the festival for 15 years, serving as the artistic director from 2000 through 2006. At Keith Case & Associates, Claire is artist support and management for Guy Clark, Sierra Hull and The Farewell Drifters. She also handles marketing and public relations projects for KCA, working closely with Keith Case as his assistant. Claire is actively involved with the Americana Music Association where she uses her skills as a producer for the Americana Honors & Awards show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. She has volunteered for the International Bluegrass Music Association, booking its Roots & Branches stage for IBMA World of Bluegrass Fan Fest, and serving on the Fan Fest Committee. Claire is also a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.

Marilee Chipoletti - Contract/Rider Administrator

Marilee Chipoletti joined KCA in 1997 from her position in Synchronization Licensing at Nashville's Acuff-Rose Music administering TV, film, radio, video and print contracts. She graduated cum-laude with a B.S. in Music Education from Wilkes College , PA. Marilee is a CMA member, serves on the Cheatham County Tourism Committee, and is on the Board of Directors of FOPP, a non-profit organization working to improve Pegram Park through community involvement, the environment and the arts.
